Best player you've played with?

Hornets At Home: Your Chance To Help

Watford fans’ sense of community is renowned within the football industry – and supporters have a chance to show why we’re The Original Family Club with our ‘Hornets At Home’ initiative, during what’s set to be a difficult time for many due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The club has written to all of its elderly supporters and those with a disability, drawing information from its records held, offering the help of fellow Hornets’ fans. Assistance will also be made available to those who become house-bound through illness.

Blissett On Deeney: “I Really Hope He Beats My Record”

Luther Blissett unselfishly hopes Troy Deeney goes onto break his club league goals record once the football season resumes, believing it means his beloved Hornets are winning football matches if the captain is banging in the goals.

Speaking on official club podcast 'The View From The Vic', after firstly outlining the importance of trying to contain the spread of the coronavirus, Blissett was then asked whether his tally of 148 league goals for the Hornets is under threat from Deeney, who is on 121 and was on a run of six goals in 12 games before the season was suspended.
